Responsibilities

• Lead the overall delivery of large-scale residential projects (high-rise towers, villas, or mixed-use communities) from inception to handover, ensuring compliance with timelines, budget, and quality standards.
• Develop and implement strategic project plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee cost control, financial reporting, variation management, claims handling, and value engineering to maximize project profitability.
• Act as the primary point of contact with clients/developers (e.g., Emaar, Damac, Nakheel), consultants, and local authorities (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees) for approvals, coordination, and issue resolution.
• Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, implementing robust safety protocols across the site.
• Monitor project progress through regular reporting, site inspections, and performance reviews, proactively addressing risks and delays.
• Drive sustainable construction practices where applicable, aligning with UAE green building initiatives.
• Manage contract administration under FIDIC or similar frameworks, including procurement and subcontractor performance.

Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in construction/project management, with at least 5-10 years in the UAE/Middle East region.
• Proven track record as Project Director or Senior Project Manager on large-scale residential projects (high-rise buildings or luxury villa communities) valued at AED 500 million or more, delivered through main contracting.
• Strong experience with main contractors in the UAE market and familiarity with local regulations, approval processes, and supply chains.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage cross-cultural teams.
• Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and modern tools (BIM preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of contract management (FIDIC), risk assessment, cost control, and HSE standards.
• Fluent in English (business level); Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving license and willingness to be based on-site in Dubai with potential travel within the UAE.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, solve complex problems, and deliver projects successfully in a fast-paced environment.

Salary range: 35-40k AED per month
