Job description

Randstad is searching for an experienced and dynamic Project Director to lead a flagship AED 1 billion residential development in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading contracting firm and drive a high‑profile, large‑scale project from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall project execution strategy, ensuring alignment with client expectations, contractual obligations, and corporate standards.
• Maintain strict control over the AED 1 billion budget and manage all aspects of Project P&L (Profit & Loss).
• Oversee all contract administration, variation orders (VOs), claims management, and ensure optimal cash flow and cost recovery.
• Act as the main point of liaison with the Client, Consultants, relevant Government Authorities, and regulatory bodies (e.g., ADDC, Civil Defence).
• Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality (finishes and structure).
• Establish and enforce rigorous HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards across the site, fostering a zero‑harm culture.
• Provide regular, concise, and accurate reports to the company's executive management and the client regarding progress, commercial status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
