A leading hotel chain in Dubai seeks an experienced individual in furniture polishing and maintenance. Responsibilities include resolving guest repair requests and adhering to safety standards. Candidates should possess a high school diploma and a minimum of 5 years' experience in furniture polishing techniques. The role demands precision and knowledge of modern tools. Respond and attend to guest repair requests. Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues.
Follow all company policies, safety, and security procedures; report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guest service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Adhere to quality standards. Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team efforts, and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns. Communicate clearly and professionally. Lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance; heavier tasks with assistance. Navigate stairs, service ramps, and ladders. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Use computers to locate and enter work-related information. Perform other reasonable duties as requested.
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: Some experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting.
Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus.
Supervisory Experience: None required.
License or Certification: Driver's License
