Job Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Production Manager to oversee and optimize the day-to-day manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for production planning, workforce management, quality assurance and achieving production targets while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan schedule and manage daily production activities to meet output targets and delivery deadlines.
• Monitor production workflows and adjust resources to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Lead and supervise production staff, assigning tasks and providing training as required.
• Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, quality and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
• Analyze production data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain production records, inventory control and ensure traceability of finished goods.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing, Kaizen and 5S practices.
• Manage budgets, control production costs and report on performance and operational efficiency.
• Handle customer complaints or internal feedback related to production and resolve issues promptly.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• Master's Degree in Operations / Industrial Management (preferred but not mandatory).

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling and control.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or similar process improvement tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve operational issues efficiently.
• Sound knowledge of quality control systems and HSE regulations.
