Job description

• Oversee daily production operations for heat exchanger manufacturing, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Monitor and manage production schedules to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality control, procurement) to ensure smooth production flow.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to streamline operations.
• Conduct time and motion studies to optimize production processes and reduce waste.
• Ensure the manufacturing process adheres to strict quality standards and specifications for heat exchangers.
• Prepare and review production reports, highlighting quality metrics and production performance.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues, equipment malfunctions, and process bottlenecks.
• Implement corrective actions and root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence of issues.
• Ensure that all safety procedures and protocols are followed during the manufacturing process.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards and regulations.
• Conduct safety training for production staff and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Supervise and train production staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks efficiently.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment to achieve production goals.
• Monitor and review staff performance, providing coaching and feedback.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, DME, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in manufacturing processes or production management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) are a plus.
