About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Procurement Officer based in Ajman to support our purchasing operations. This entry-level role involves sourcing vendors, negotiating favorable terms, processing purchase orders, and managing supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with vendors to secure the best value
  • Process and track purchase orders from initiation through to delivery and invoicing
  • Maintain up-to-date records of supplier performance, contracts, and communications
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs and resolve any supply issues
  • Prepare regular procurement reports and cost analyses for management review
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and local regulations
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field
  • 0–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or related administrative role
  • Strong vendor negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficient in purchase order processing and supplier management
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience or familiarity with ERP or procurement software systems
  • Basic understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles
  • Internship or project experience in a procurement or logistics environment
  • Fluency in Arabic and English
