Role Overview

The incumbent will be responsible for developing the team in alignment with procurement policies and tools, fostering essential soft skills that enhance value-added activities such as stakeholder and supplier relationship management. This role acts as a vital link between the regional function and the global category team, supplier quality, and internal customers, ensuring all business requirements are met effectively.

What you'll do:
  • Own and nurture key relationships with internal customers and stakeholders, driving collaboration with the category management team.
  • Lead the implementation of category strategies within the region.
  • Develop, mentor, and lead the procurement team to achieve high performance.
  • Drive sourcing activities that deliver value and sustainability, including supplier evaluation and selection, market analysis, negotiation, contracting, and ongoing supplier management.
  • Manage MRP demand in collaboration with our technology partners and the wider team to optimize buying, inventory levels, and leverage scale efficiencies.
  • Oversee risk reporting and management activities related to audit findings, P2P policies, and other procurement controls.
  • Manage the procurement budget and ensure alignment with key financial objectives.
