Job summary

Responsibilities
  • Develop project-specific procurement strategies aligned with project schedules, budgets, and technical requirements
  • Prepare procurement plans, material take-offs, and sourcing timelines for Building/infrastructure projects.
  • Identify, prequalify, and manage suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with engineering, planning, and project teams to forecast procurement needs.
  • Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, and tenders for materials, equipment, and subcontract packages.
  • Lead bid evaluations (technical and commercial) and negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms.
  • Ensure contracts align with project specifications, legal requirements, and company policies.
  • Achieve cost savings through strategic sourcing, bulk purchasing, and long-term supplier agreements.
  • Monitor procurement budgets and report cost variances.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms, company policies, and local/international procurement regulations.
  • Manage procurement of key infrastructure/Civil materials and heavy construction equipment.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, finance, QA/QC, and HSE teams
  • Support claims, variations, and audits related to procurement activities
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and correspondence
  • Prepare procurement status reports, cash flow forecasts, and supplier performance reviews.
