Roles and Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain material specifications in collaboration with project teams and engineering departments.
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, including pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to determine material needs and forecast demand accurately.
  • Conduct regular assessments of supplier performance and address any issues or concerns.
  • Optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring timely availability of materials.
  • Monitor market trends and technological advancements to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement procurement strategies that support business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing materials procurement and management.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams regarding material selection, usage, and specifications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, materials science, supply chain management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the interior fitout industry.
