Job summary

A leading engineering staffing provider in Dubai is seeking a skilled Process Engineer for an Early Production Facility Project. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemical Engineering, a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in tools such as HYSYS and FlareSIM. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Process or Proposals Engineer in the oil & gas industry.
• Familiarity with upstream oilfield technology, especially oil/gas/water separation.
• Experience with Early Production Facilities or modular equipment packages is advantageous.

Process Engineer (Early Production Facility Project)

Location - Dubai

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team. This role involves working closely with the proposals team to deliver fast-track, cost-effective technical solutions and supporting process engineering activities for active product line projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tenders and prepare technical proposals with cost-effective solutions.
• Provide input for proposals cost estimation.
• Prepare process engineering documentation (calculations, simulations, datasheets, PFDs, P&IDs, technical reports).
• Develop RFQ documentation and review vendor documents.
• Participate in HAZOP workshops, KO meetings, FAT visits, and vendor facility inspections.
• Provide technical support for operational facilities (local and international).
• Contribute to engineering process improvements and design reviews.
• Upload data to engineering databases and use technical software tools.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines for multi-disciplinary documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, HSE, and Code of Conduct policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Process or Proposals Engineer in the oil & gas industry.
• Familiarity with upstream oilfield technology, especially oil/gas/water separation.
• Proficiency in HYSYS, FlareSIM; knowledge of AutoCAD (2D/3D), SmartPlant is a plus.
• Experience with Early Production Facilities or modular equipment packages is advantageous.
