Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About the Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Principle Electrical Technician to join the resort’s Staff Housing Engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support electrical technicians in performing maintenance and repairs on LV panels, SMDBs, DBs, lighting systems, sockets, isolators, and related components.
• Conduct inspections and audits of electrical infrastructure to identify faults, inefficiencies, or safety risks.
• Ensure timely response to electrical complaints, outages, and emergency breakdowns.
• Develop and manage PPM schedules for all electrical systems and assets.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and compliance documentation.
• Ensure all tasks are logged and updated in the CMMS (Maximo or equivalent).
• Lead and manage a team of electrical technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Prepare and manage technician rosters to ensure full coverage across all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Conduct regular training sessions and toolbox talks to enhance technical skills and safety awareness.
• Liaise with Housekeeping, Front Office, HVAC, Civil, ELV, and Horticulture teams to ensure seamless electrical support across the facility.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for outsourced electrical services or specialized repairs.
• Support cross-functional initiatives and respond to operational priorities as directed by the Manager – Engineering & Facilities.
• Ensure all electrical maintenance activities comply with UAE electrical codes, safety regulations, and internal SOPs.
• Participate in safety audits, inspections, and emergency response planning.

About You

• Technical diploma or certification in electrical systems or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in electrical maintenance within large-scale residential or staff housing environments.
• Strong knowledge of LV distribution systems, lighting controls, and electrical safety standards.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings, riser diagrams, and schematics.
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms (e.g., Maximo) and digital reporting tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
