Job Description

Experience

• 12-15 years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, software engineering, and solution design.
• Proven track record of leading architecture for large-scale, mission-critical systems in banking or financial services.
• Experience in designing and delivering foundational platforms, reusable services, and scalable enterprise solutions.

Technical & Architectural Expertise

• Deep hands-on expertise in backend technologies:
• Java
• Strong working knowledge of frontend technologies:
• React.js, Angular, Flutter, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience in low-level design, coding, and code reviews across full-stack environments.
• Expertise in microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and API-first design.
• Strong understanding of API specifications, including Swagger/OpenAPI, and ability to define and validate sequence diagrams, data flows, and integration points.
• Ability to lead and contribute to architectural blueprints, solution design documents, and technical strategy roadmaps.

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Hands-on experience with Azure (preferred) and AWS, including:
• Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN
• Databases, Big Data, Analytics, Security
• Experience with on-premises infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Certified in Azure Solutions Architect and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native services, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless architectures.

DevOps & Engineering Practices

• Expertise in DevOps tooling and practices, including:
• CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• API Gateway management using Kong
• Strong understanding of observability, monitoring, logging, and performance tuning.
• Champion of engineering best practices, including:
• Code quality, security, scalability, reusability, and maintainability

AI, GenAI & Agentic Solutions

• Hands-on experience in AI/ML model integration, GenAI applications, and agentic system design.
• Ability to architect intelligent solutions that enhance business capabilities and customer experience.
• Familiarity with ML pipelines, model deployment, and ethical AI practices.

Security & Governance

• Strong understanding of GSO security frameworks, cybersecurity principles, and secure design patterns.
• Experience in security architecture, data protection, identity & access management, and compliance alignment.
• Ability to lead security reviews, risk assessments, and architecture validation with enterprise security teams.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Proven ability to lead architectural review boards, challenge and align with Enterprise Architecture (EA) teams.
• Strong stakeholder management across business, technology, infrastructure, and security domains.
• Ability to mentor engineering teams, promote architectural thinking, and drive technical excellence.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with executive leadership, delivery teams, and external partners.
