Primary Teacher – GEMS Al Barsha National School, Dubai

GEMS Al Barsha National School is seeking an inspirational and dedicated Primary Teachers to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team in August 2026. The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will plan and deliver exceptional lessons that meet the needs of all learners. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom culture, fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every student.

Beyond the classroom, you will actively contribute to the wider life of the school from co-curricular activities to community events helping our students develop both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
  • Assess, record, and report on student progress to ensure every child achieves their potential.

  • Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum, subject matter, and effective pedagogy.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan units of work, share best practices, and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Commun to provide regular updates on student progress and well-being.
  • Participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular programmes, school events, and committees.
  • Uphold the GEMS Education Core Values and school policies at all times.
  • Promote cultural awareness, resilience, and a genuine love of learning in all students.
Skills
Qualifications & Knowledge
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education (or equivalent teaching qualification).
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree and recognised teaching certification/licence.
  • Strong understanding of the use of ICT in education to enhance learning and engagement.
