Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in pool maintenance or a related field.
• Technical knowledge of pool systems, including filters, pumps, and chemical treatment.
• Basic plumbing, painting and electrical skills.
• Familiarity with health and safety standards related to pool maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment.
• Good physical stamina to perform manual labor in outdoor environments.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular cleaning of swimming pools, including skimming debris, scrubbing pool walls and floors, and vacuuming.
• Inspect and maintain pool filters, pumps, and chlorinators to ensure proper operation.
• Test water pH and chlorine levels, adjusting chemical levels as necessary to maintain water quality and safety.
• Empty and clean pool skimmer baskets and traps regularly.
• Diagnose and repair minor pool equipment issues (pumps, motors, valves, etc.).
• Conduct routine inspections of pool plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ensure the safe operation of all pool-related equipment, conducting troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Assist in pool heater and lighting installations and repairs when required.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, HVAC systems, electrical panels, and plumbing systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in various systems and equipment, and perform the necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
• Plant, prune, and care for trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns.
• Mow, edge, and trim grass and hedges to maintain a neat appearance.
• Fertilize and water plants, ensuring their health and growth.
• Identify and address pests, diseases, or other issues affecting plant life.
• Maintain garden tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Design and implement small landscaping projects as needed.
• Collect and dispose of garden waste responsibly.
