Role Summary

The role is responsible for creating precise technical drawings, 3D renderings and visualisations of POSM (Point of Sale Materials) and experiential elements in alignment with campaign briefs and marketing activations. This role requires translating creative concepts into accurate production‑ready designs that meet both functional and aesthetic standards. In addition to design execution the role oversees production follow‑ups, including reviewing and validating samples to ensure compliance with specifications. The role also coordinates with vendors for material selection, cost evaluation and feasibility checks while ensuring production quality is maintained. Furthermore, the role plays a key part in project management by monitoring timelines, following up on installations and ensuring that all POSM and experience elements are delivered and installed on time, up to standard and aligned with the campaign vision.

Accountabilities
  1. Accuracy & Technical Excellence

    Accountabilities: Deliver error‑free technical drawings and 3D renderings that meet design and production specifications.

    1. Develop detailed AutoCAD drawings and 3D models for POSM and campaign experiences.
    2. Ensure all drawings align with brand guidelines, structural requirements and campaign briefs.
    3. Maintain up‑to‑date drawing files and documentation for seamless project execution.
  2. Creative Translation of Campaign Briefs

    Accountabilities: Transform marketing and creative briefs into practical production‑ready design outputs.

    1. Interpret campaign concepts into technical drawings and visualisations.
    2. Collaborate with marketing and design teams to balance creativity with feasibility.
    3. Provide innovative yet functional design solutions that elevate campaign experiences.
  3. Production Oversight & Quality Assurance

    Accountabilities: Guarantee that production samples and final outputs meet specifications and quality standards.

    1. Review production prototypes and physical samples for accuracy.
    2. Flag deviations and recommend corrective actions to vendors.
    3. Conduct quality checks during and after production to ensure alignment with approved designs.
  4. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

    Accountabilities: Manage vendor relationships and support procurement decisions for materials and production.

    1. Evaluate and recommend vendors based on quality, cost and reliability.
    2. Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely sample delivery and production.
    3. Support cost optimisation without compromising design quality.
  5. Timeline & Installation Management

    Accountabilities: Ensure timely delivery and flawless installation of POSM and campaign elements.

    1. Track project milestones and monitor deadlines across design‑to‑installation phases.
    2. Coordinate with installation teams to ensure accurate execution of designs on site.
    3. Provide technical support during installation and resolve design‑related challenges quickly.
  6. Collaboration & Communication

    Accountabilities: Act as a bridge between creative marketing production and vendor teams.

    1. Clearly communicate technical requirements and specifications to non‑technical stakeholders.
    2. Share updates, progress reports and design revisions proactively.
    3. Contribute to a collaborative workflow that supports cross‑functional success.

Experience

35 years of proven experience in AutoCAD design, 3D visualisation and technical drawing preferably within retail POSM (Point of Sale Materials), events or brand activations. Demonstrated ability to translate marketing and creative briefs into accurate technical drawings and 3D renderings. Hands‑on experience with production follow‑up including reviewing samples, checking specifications and validating quality standards. Strong background in working with vendors, fabricators and suppliers including evaluating materials, cost options and feasibility. Experience supporting on‑site installation and execution ensuring timelines and technical requirements are met. Exposure to cross‑functional collaboration with Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Operations and Brand teams. Familiarity with production processes and materials. Advantage: Prior work in retail environments, exhibitions or large‑scale campaign roll‑outs.
