Job summary

A leading construction firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Project Manager to prepare and monitor project programs, manage schedules, and report project progress. The ideal candidate should have an Engineering Degree in Civil or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience in heavy civil and infrastructure projects. Proficiency in project management software like P6 Primavera is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Detailed Project Baseline Programme in accordance with approved processes.
• Update and monitor the Project Progress and Productivity rates.
• Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Reports for the Project.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Prepare Detailed Project Baseline Programme in accordance with Approved Planning Process and Procedures Manual
• Prepare Manpower and Equipment Schedules in close collaboration with Estimation Manager
• Update and monitor the Project Progress and Productivity rates against the Approved Baseline Programmer
• Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Reports for the Project
• Prepare KPI Sheets for Project Programme and update them on a daily basis
• Prepare daily Progress Drawing for the project in collaboration with Survey Drafting Department
• Prepare Monthly Meeting Presentations and various documents Calculations for planning purposes
• Provide analysis and recommendations as to corrective action based upon planning data
• Liaise with project team members in gathering data in support of the planning process

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree in Civil or an equivalent professional qualification
• Experience in Programme Management, Planning, Scheduling, and Monitoring & Controlling projects by effective use of Project Management Softwares such as P6 Primavera, MS Projects and Spread Sheets
• Minimum 05 years of experience in similar role and industry
• Experience in heavy civil and infrastructure projects
