Optometrist in Jabal-Ali, UAE. Job summary: We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Jabal-Ali. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality eye care services, such as testing vision, diagnosing and treating eye diseases, prescribing medications and contact lenses, and educating patients about proper eye care.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Examine patients’ eyes to detect visual defects and diseases such as glaucoma or cataracts
  • Measure patients’ eyes to determine the correct corrective lenses needed
  • Prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses based on their prescriptions
  • Educate patients on proper vision care techniques such as how to wear contacts or how to clean eyeglasses
  • Monitor patient progress over time by examining their eyes regularly
  • Create treatment plans for those suffering from more serious conditions such as glaucoma or cataracts
  • Provide referrals to ophthalmologists when necessary
  • Keep accurate patient records detailing diagnosis, treatments, medications prescribed, etc.
Qualifications & Education Requirements

  • Great attention to detail when conducting tests or measuring eyesight
  • Ability to stay abreast of the latest medical developments within the field of optometry
