About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and a dynamic Operations Manager (Emirati) to support the planning implementation and day-to-day management of UAE Pavilion operations at World Expos.

This role involves supporting daily operational functions coordinating staffing and logistics managing multiple workstreams simultaneously and ensuring seamless operations visitor experiences and support services throughout the lifecycles of the UAE pavilion in Expos.

The role requires an organized and proactive candidate who is comfortable working in high-pressure multicultural environments.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Planning & Delivery

  • Assist in the design and implementation of operational plans procedures and service models a cross pavilions.
  • Assist in managing and coordinating with several vendors and contracts.
  • Monitor daily operations ensuring efficient execution and resolution of any arising issues.
  • Contribute to pavilion readiness a cross all functions including visitor services facilities security and logistics.

Team & Staffing Management

  • Oversee onboarding training and performance support for operational staff.
  • Ensure team preparedness through training plans operational briefings and development programs.
  • Support staff welfare productivity and engagement across multiple locations.

Logistics Compliance & Vendor Management

  • Review operational guidelines set by organizers and ensure strict compliance.
  • Liaise with government entities event authorities and regulatory bodies.
  • Lead procurement activities manage vendors and track contractual deliverables.
  • Ensure all operational work follows safety legal and quality standards.

Stakeholder VIP & Protocol Coordination

  • Oversee VIP visit management in collaboration with protocol and event teams.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams partners and external stakeholders to support strategic objectives.
  • Represent the operations function in internal and external meetings.

Financial & Administrative Oversight

  • Support budgeting forecasting and expense tracking across operational activities.
  • Review financial summaries audits and operational reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records documentation and operational control frameworks.

Reporting & Knowledge Management

  • Lead the preparation of progress updates operational dashboards and management reports.
  • Contribute to post-event reviews lessons learned and knowledge transfer documentation.
  • Support long-term planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Operations Management Business Administration Events Management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in operations management ideally in government-related entities exhibitions global events or large-scale public operations.
  • Experience with international events expos or high-profile projects is a strong advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic & English.
  • High level of organization attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work under pressure in dynamic and multicultural environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and vendor coordination experience.

Other Requirements

  • Knowledge of major event operations international exhibitions or pavilion management is an advantage.
