Summary

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead and manage our projects resources and operations within the civil piling and ground improvement sector. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on schedule within budget and meet the highest safety and quality standards. The Operations Manager will also focus on enhancing efficiency and profitability throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage operations for civil piling shoring and ground improvement projects.
• Supervise project managers, engineers, supervisors and site teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Develop and implement strategies, policies and procedures to boost efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor budgets, project costs and resources to meet profitability goals.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, client requirements and company quality/HSE standards.
• Manage fleet, equipment and plant utilization for optimal performance.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and regulatory authorities for project approvals and delivery.
• Address technical and operational issues offering guidance and support to project teams.
• Oversee workforce planning, training and performance management.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on project progress, risks and financial performance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: B.E. in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in civil construction with at least 5 years in piling/shoring/ground improvement operations in a managerial capacity.
• Technical Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of piling, shoring and ground improvement techniques.
  • Proven expertise in project planning, execution and cost control.
  • Proficiency with Primavera, MS Project, AutoCAD and ERP systems.

Requirements

• Excellent leadership and people management abilities.
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding (FIDIC knowledge preferred).
• Effective communication skills with clients, stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• UAE/GCC industry experience is essential; a valid UAE driving license is preferred.
