Job summary

A leading marine company is hiring an Oiler Offshore to join their experienced team. Suitable candidates should have valid STCW certificates, be physically fit, and possess an understanding of engine room machinery. Qualifications

  • Valid STCW certificates including Basic Safety Training.
  • Seaman Book and valid Passport are mandatory.
  • Previous offshore experience preferred.

Skills

Basic knowledge of engine room machinery and systems
Ability to assist with engine maintenance and repairs
Proficiency in oiling, greasing, and cleaning machinery parts
Familiarity with engine log keeping and monitoring equipment readings
Ability to follow safety procedures and emergency protocols
Teamwork and communication skills
Good physical stamina and ability to work in offshore conditions

Education

STCW Certification (Basic Safety Training, EFA, FPFF, PST, PSSR)
Engine Room Watchkeeping Certificate (if applicable)
Oiler or Engine Rating Certificate (from approved maritime authority)
Valid Seaman Book
Valid Passport
Medical Fitness Certificate (e.g., OGUK or equivalent)
COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
