Overview

Offshore Structural Engineer – Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (site visits as required). Job Type: Full-time, 6-month renewable contract. Working Schedule: 9 hours per day, 5 days a week.

Qualifications

Minimum B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering. M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering preferable.

Experience

8 to 12 years of relevant offshore structural design and engineering experience. Strong technical background with practical aptitude.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

• Proficient in structural analysis software such as SACS, USFOS, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of international design codes including API RP 2A, AISC, and related standards.
• Familiarity with client standards such as TOTAL, ADNOC Group, or equivalent.
• Experience in both in-service analyses (inplace, spectral fatigue, pushover, boat impact) and pre-service analyses (loadout, lift, transportation).
• Design experience in pipe supports, equipment supports, miscellaneous structures, and barge strengthening checks.
