Job description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our client's team in Abu Dhabi. This role is within one of the UAE's largest government-affiliated healthcare networks known for delivering exceptional rehabilitation and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  1. Assess patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to determine therapy needs.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation programs to improve daily living and occupational skills.
  3. Provide therapy using evidence-based techniques, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications.
  4. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive strategies, and home programs.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
  6. Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate records.
  7. Support patients in adapting to work, school, and home environments after injury or illness.
  8. Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and quality standards.
  9. Stay updated on the latest occupational therapy practices and rehabilitation technologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Valid UAE license to practice or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant clinical experience, including pediatric exposure preferred.
