"Network Support Senior Spec•To understand the Customers’ organizational structures and become familiar with the Customers’ network implementation, support processes and procedures to help in designing a network that is highly available and sustainable."

Responsibilities

• To perform patch and software upgrade on the security devices and to ensure that they are implemented and functioning correctly.
• To troubleshoot equipment and network problems and to open tickets to vendors – Cisco, Palo Alto, etc. through to problem resolution.
• To raise equipment Return Material Authorizations (RMA’s) and to track these through to problem resolution.
• Work on developing network optimization and configuration reviews
• To hold technology workshops with the Customers to discuss equipment and network problems, and to provide case status updates, including the reasons for any problems encountered and the workarounds and/or solutions.
• Support design and operations and planning of Security products within the Customer infrastructure
• Responsible for maintaining documentation, diagram, Incident Reports, Root Cause Analysis
