Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Metallurgical Engineer to join our Metals Business division. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the Aluminum casting line and ensuring efficient, safe, and optimized production of Alloy and EC rods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily operations and ensure all performance objectives are met.
  • Manage molten metal receiving, homogenization, casting, rolling, and rod coiling processes.
  • Implement section policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Support budget planning, consumable forecasting, and contingency planning.
  • Ensure adherence to HSE practices and safe work methods.
  • Generate operational, commissioning, and monthly performance reports.
  • Analyze process issues, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Technical teams on product specifications and new product development.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance and maximize equipment efficiency.
  • Address customer complaints with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, SPC).
  • Manage SAP PP master data and ensure accurate system usage.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Experience in molten aluminum handling, alloy additives, casting & mill parameter setup.
  • Strong knowledge of Alloy types (especially 6xxx & 8xxx series).
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills.
