Location: Al Barsha 2Grove Mall Dubai UAE

Responsibilities
  • Operate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment in accordance with established protocols.
  • Perform a variety of tests including hematological, biochemical, serological and other specialized analyses ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Verify test outcomes by reviewing patient history and prior test results to ensure consistency and reliability.
  • Conduct routine quality control checks on all test systems ensuring accuracy and validity of results.
  • Participate in proficiency testing programs and support the laboratory accreditation process.
  • Assist the laboratory manager with additional tasks as needed.
  • Conduct phlebotomy procedures when necessary.
  • Stay updated on the latest laboratory practices by attending educational workshops, reviewing relevant publications, building professional networks and participating in industry societies.
  • Foster effective collaboration and communication within and between departments to maintain a seamless workflow.
  • Ensure a safe, clean and compliant laboratory environment by following established safety protocols, including infection control and hazardous waste management.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies protecting both patient and clinic data integrity.

Understands follows and supports all hospital infection control programs

Requirements
  • Bachelors or Associate degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, chemistry, biology or a related field.
  • Active DHA license to practice as a Clinical Medical Lab Technologist.
  • Proficiency in English both written and spoken.
  • Highly skilled in the precise manipulation of laboratory equipment and test materials.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and work with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of staying calm under pressure with strong problem‑solving skills especially when working with high‑expectation patients.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written with the ability to present information systematically and ensure follow‑up as required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Preferred: Experience working in CAP, ISO or JCI accredited laboratories.
