Job summary

A leading aviation maintenance company in the UAE is looking for personnel to perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include inspection, repair, and documentation of aircraft activities, along with training customer technicians. Ideal candidates should have a High School diploma or relevant certifications, a maximum of 3 years experience in the field, and a good understanding of avionics systems. This role promotes skill development and operational readiness.

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School or technical certifications in related field.
  • Approved Aviation Maintenance Technician School Certificate (FAA) required for Non-Nationals.
  • 0-3 years experience in aircraft Maintenance Operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance tasks according to technical publications.
  • Complete documentation for aircraft maintenance activities.
  • Train and support customer's technicians for maintenance tasks.
  • Assist the maintenance team and unit operations as directed.

Job description

Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance tasks. Carries out directives from the Supervisor in support of the maintenance team and unit operations. Install, inspect, test, adjust, or repair avionics equipment.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform inspection, repair, troubleshooting, and servicing of aircraft and equipment in accordance with applicable technical publications, applicable regulations, and company and local policies and procedures. Assists in ensuring aircraft and equipment are maintained in a high state of mission readiness.
  2. Complete all forms, records, and documents recording aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with DA PAM 738-751, applicable technical publications, applicable regulations, and company and local policies and procedures.
  3. Impart the knowledge of duties and responsibilities in such a manner (advice support and OJT training) to permit assimilation of the customer's trainees; the final aim being to enable the customer's technicians to attain gradual full capacity to carry out maintenance.
  4. Carry out all assigned tasks by the Supervisor in support of the maintenance team and unit operations.

Qualification
  • Minimum High School or relevant recognized technical certifications and diplomas in the same field.
  • Approved Aviation Maintenance Technician School Certificate (FAA) is required for Non-National or equivalent.
Experience
  • Minimum 0-3 Yrs. experience in aircraft Maintenance Operations or as deemed suitable and sufficient by the technical screening/evaluation committee represented by customer and GAL technical assessors.
  • Fresh graduates UAE Nationals with no experience undergoing (structured On-the-Job Training) OJT program.
  • A good general knowledge of avionics systems and aircraft maintenance inspections services and repairs.
