Job summary

A leading financial institution in Abu Dhabi seeks a Supply Chain Finance Manager to support the growth of SCF programs. You’ll be responsible for managing client onboarding, implementing transactions, and fostering stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years in transactional banking with a strong understanding of cash management products. This role involves ensuring compliance, identifying risks, and driving utilization of SCF products. This is a full-time in-office position.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability in developing client relationships.

Job description

The role is responsible for supporting SCF Product Manager in managing and growing the Supply Chain Finance (SCF) programs and develop new SCF for our clients. Individual in the role must manage client and vendor onboarding and contribute towards the growth objectives of FABs SCF business globally.

Specific Accountability
  • Support Product manager in delivering on specific revenue targets and growing the SCF book consistent and commensurate with the Banks acceptable pricing and risk parameters
  • Ensuring that mandated SCF transactions are implemented in a timely manner
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of products systems processes and practices while taking into account client needs market developments and trends
  • Elaborate bespoke reports for customers and for internal product monitoring.
  • Support Product Manager in closely monitoring revenue realization utilization in SCF deals to ensure the adequate action is taken to ensure the utilization levels are as expected
  • Establishing strong stakeholder relationships across the Bank and work with colleagues and partners across the network to build a strong SCF deal pipeline
  • Assist with client escalations on service transactions and operational efficiencies on an end to end basis
  • Support product manager in proactively managing transactional risk in an efficient and profitable manner while identifying and managing fraud regulatory and compliance risks developing or presenting solutions for clients
  • Actively participate in opportunities to update product skills understand market trends and competitor behaviors
  • Understand and comply with regulations and internal policies i.e. Credit/Compliance/Operational Risks/Islamic Banking etc.
  • Ensure basic understanding of all existing channels available in the industry. Ensure customers are trained on SCF program channels manage their critical channel related service issues provide feedback to channels development/ support team to improve customer experience on channels and work on cross selling opportunities through channels
  • Work in coordination with the secondary market distribution desk to execute secondary market deals.

  • All approvals to be sought as per the Business Delegation of Authority Matrix
  • Build and maintain a strong Client and supplier relationships with focus on ramping up the SCF program utilization
  • Strong technical knowledge in SCF product including SCF Platform
  • Self-starter who is able to handle client and vendor enquiries relating to SCF independently
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills. Strong written and spoken English
  • Self-confident and performance driven. Ability to work under pressure and with a strong delivery focus
  • Understanding of operations processes and procedures and related risk in SCF transactions
  • Familiar with the regulatory environment concerning the banking and financial industry in UAE
Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

Degree Diploma or Post Graduate Diploma in Finance Accounting Economics Commerce Communication or other disciplines with Business and/or Management Studies

Minimum Experience:

5 years Transaction Banking experience with specialized knowledge in Cash Management Products and Channels; or Coverage Banking Experience with managing an active portfolio of Cash Management intensive clients. Candidate should have an experience of Origination and Developing Client Relationships
