Qualifications

• 10 years reinsurance broking experience.
• Strong understanding of global reinsurance markets and structures.
• Reinsurance and Reinsurance placement is required with contacts in reinsurance capacity providers.
• Understanding of facultative reinsurance.

Responsibilities

• Support regional broking strategy aligned to growth targets.
• Drive portfolio expansion and new client acquisition.
• Lead facultative placements (prop & non-prop).

About the Role

A senior broking leadership role supporting the Chief Broking Officer in driving regional broking strategy portfolio growth and high-quality facultative reinsurance placements. The position focuses on securing sustainable capacity strengthening reinsurer partnerships and expanding market presence while optimising portfolio performance and profitability.

Broking Strategy & Market Leadership

• Support regional broking strategy aligned to growth targets
• Drive portfolio expansion and new client acquisition

Placement & Capacity Management

• Lead facultative placements (prop & non-prop)
• Develop and maintain reinsurer capacity partnerships

Client & Market Relationship Management

• Build senior relationships with cedants and reinsurers
• Act as market ambassador across assigned regions

Portfolio Performance & Profitability

• Monitor portfolio performance and placement profitability
• Support budgeting forecasting and business planning

Business Development & Expansion

• Identify and develop new business opportunities
• Support cross-selling and product expansion initiatives

Leadership Governance & Collaboration

• Work closely with underwriting claims finance and compliance
• Support governance and regulatory alignment

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors in Finance Business or related; MBA/professional certification preference
• 10 years reinsurance broking experienc
• Strong understanding of global reinsurance markets and structures
• Reinsurance and Reinsurance placement is required and contact with reinsurance capacity providers
• Understand facultative reinsurance.
