Work with our Largest and most Strategic Accounts

You'll be selling Akamai solutions to new and existing customers within the Cyber Security and Compute space. You will be responsible for new business development and existing customers. Working with various functions on lead generation to deal closure, customer management & renewals. You'll be supported by cross-functional internal teams, ensuring success with new customer acquisition & building customer loyalty.

As a Major Account Executive, you will be responsible for :
  • Prospecting and acquiring new customers. Upselling & Cross selling the Akamai portfolio to your install base.
  • Fostering long term relationships through positioning valued solutions to meet your customers unique needs.
  • Maintaining sales pipeline, accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting. Managing contract renewals. Minimising lost revenue and churn.
  • Working with integrated cross-functional teams to ensure your customers realise the Value of their Akamai services.
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will :
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of technology and the Internet, including cyber security and cloud compute.
  • Have relevant sales experience working with multi vertical companies in MEA.
  • Have experience selling enterprise-class technology software, SaaS, internet-based technology solutions to enterprise class companies.
  • Demonstrate experience of account management with short term and long term planning, selling value at C-Level.
  • Have experience working in a collaborative, results oriented environment building executive level relationships with high-level customers.
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills (Fluency in English and Arabic is a must) with experience in managing internal and external communications remotely.
