Project description

As a member of our Project Management Consultant (PMC) team you’ll oversee a diverse portfolio of projects that contribute to Abu Dhabi's growth. This includes developing essential infrastructure like transportation networks and utilities alongside public spaces. You’ll also play a role in shaping thriving communities by managing the development of residential housing projects and ensuring the quality of new educational facilities. Furthermore, your expertise will be crucial in overseeing the development of mosques and maximizing urban space through infill development projects. In short this PMC role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on Abu Dhabi’s built environment.

The role

Reports to the Logistics Manager and supports the implementation of logistics strategies and plans for Project Sites.

Main responsibilities

Implement monitor and update the Project Logistics Management Plan.

  • Interface within the Consultants and Contractors relevant teams to ensure seamless Project operations and timely completion.
  • Overseeing the implementation of logistics arrangements on Projects Sites ensuring compliance with the approved Logistics Management Plans and overall allocated Project deliverables.
  • Oversee multiple Project Sites security and traffic management and equipment allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with QHS&E requirements (Quality Health Safety & Environment) related to logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with site teams to resolve logistic operations related issues as they arise ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
  • Prepare regular reports on logistics performance and site conditions.

Oversee the relevant Consultant and Contractor teams. Ensure that Contractors logistics management plans are in line with the requirements of the Project. Coordinate with the relevant teams to resolve all Projects Sites security and logistics issues. Monitoring and preparing the necessary reports on all logistics arrangements and Site logistics operations including but not limited to third party Contractors.

Experience skills and knowledge

BSc construction management engineering architecture or equivalent. Minimum 10 years overall experience. Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role. Minimum 5 years of working experience in Middle east. Knowledge of operational aspects of civil & infrastructure projects including roads bridges and utilities with experience in construction management and practice.
