Overview

Sous Chef
Our client, an Abu Dhabi based F&B firm, is currently seeking a Sous Cook to be part of their rear of home operations. The candidate will have the following obligations:

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the head cook or executive cook in the general operating of the kitchen area
  • Monitoring the job of the cooking area brigade
  • Preparing the food selection as well as preparing food items, which includes specialty or seasonal offerings
  • Estimating needed materials and submitting up orders appropriately
  • Coordinating the job flow and routines of other kitchen team members
  • Ensuring that all kitchen operations are in compliance with food health and safety laws
  • Educating staff and introducing brand-new cooking practices to the team
  • Preparing as well as cooking supplied meals
  • Managing and resolving any concerns that may develop quickly and effectively
Requirements
  • 5 to ten years of experience, at the very least 2 years as a Cook
  • Experience handling various foods, Italian a benefit
  • Experience in taking care of various other cooks and also chefs
  • Kitchen monitoring abilities and effective use of time and sources
