Job summary

A leading international inspection company in Dubai is seeking a legal assistant to draft and edit legal documents in both English and Arabic. The role involves conducting legal research, managing case files, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Law and fluency in both languages. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools is essential. This full-time position does not allow for remote work.

Qualifications

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Draft review and edit legal documents contracts and correspondence in both English and Arabic. Ensure all documents comply with legal standards and company policies.
  • Conduct legal research on various topics including laws and regulations case precedents and industry-specific legislation. Summarize findings and provide insights to the legal team.
  • Assist in managing legal cases and projects including organizing case files maintaining accurate records and tracking deadlines.
  • Liaise with clients government authorities and other stakeholders. Schedule meetings and facilitate effective communication between the legal team and external.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as managing calendars scheduling appointments and coordinating travel arrangements for the legal team.
  • Support the legal team in ensuring the companys compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Translate legal documents and communications between English and Arabic ensuring accuracy and legal precision.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in law Legal Studies or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role is advantage.

Additional Information
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic is required with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and legal research databases.
