About the Role
The Learning & Development Manager will design, implement, and oversee comprehensive learning strategies that enhance employee capabilities, drive organizational performance, and support the company’s strategic objectives. This role will partner closely with business leaders to identify skills gaps and create tailored development solutions that accelerate individual and team growth.
Job Responsibilities:
Learning Strategy & Design
- Develop and execute the enterprise-wide L&D strategy aligned with business goals and workforce planning initiatives
- Conduct training needs assessments through data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and performance metrics
- Design engaging learning programs including onboarding, technical skills development, leadership training, and compliance education
- Create blended learning experiences utilizing e-learning, instructor-led training, coaching, and experiential learning methodologies
Program Management & Delivery
- Manage the end-to-end learning lifecycle from needs analysis through evaluation and continuous improvement
- Build and maintain relationships with external training vendors, consultants, and educational institutions
- Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure optimal utilization and user experience
- Facilitate select training sessions and workshops as needed
- Develop learning content including training materials, job aids, and digital resources
Leadership Development
- Design and implement leadership development programs for emerging and established leaders
- Create succession planning frameworks and career development pathways
- Provide coaching and mentoring support to high-potential employees and leadership cohorts
Performance & Analytics
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure training effectiveness, ROI, and business impact
- Analyze learning data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Prepare regular reports for the CHRO and senior leadership on L&D initiatives and outcomes
- Maintain training records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with the CHRO and senior leaders to align L&D initiatives with organizational priorities
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners to address team-specific development needs
- Engage with subject matter experts across the organization to develop specialized training content
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing

The Successful Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in learning and development, training, or organizational development roles
- Proven track record of designing and delivering successful learning programs
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Experience with Learning Management Systems and e-learning authoring tools
- Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills and experience measuring training effectiveness
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and learning technologies
- Master’s degree in related field
- Experience in the financial services or fintech industry
- Knowledge of payment processing systems and regulations
- Experience with learning technology platforms (e.g., Workday Learning, Cornerstone, LinkedIn Learning)
- Familiarity with agile learning methodologies and design thinking
