Job summary

A reputed engineering firm in Dubai is seeking a Lead Civil and Structural Design Engineer specializing in Oil & Gas projects. This role involves structural analysis, design, and compliance-focused deliveries, overseeing projects while mentoring junior engineers. Proficiency in design software such as STAAD Pro and AutoCAD is essential, along with strong communication and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering Degree and experience managing complex projects while ensuring regulatory conformity.

Qualifications

• Requires a Civil Engineering Degree.
• Knowledge of Etabs, Idea StatiCa, FEA, AVEVA E3D, and PEB is essential.
• Experience with STAAD Pro, Safe, Prokon, and other structural design software.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and other relevant design tools.
• Licensing and familiarity with ADNOC and RTA standards are required.
• Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Licensed Civil Engineer with project management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of various structures, ensuring compliance with codes.
• Prepare structural connection details and manage shop drawings.
• Lead technical delivery of bridge designs, ensuring quality checks and innovative solutions.
• Develop and supervise structural engineering deliverables, perform detailed calculations.
• Conduct load calculations and create HVAC designs using AutoCAD.
