Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Project Manager to join our Stormwater technical PMC team in Al Ain. In this role you will contribute to the transformation of Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the client to deliver key projects.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure their requirements are met.
  • Partner with senior leaders to develop a delivery model.
  • Follow up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.
  • Oversee establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other required documents.
  • Set program requirements for all project areas and monitor draft/final deliverables for adherence to criteria.
  • Develop and distribute a summary description of the project to all team members.
  • Plan, direct, supervise, and control all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project.
  • Assign responsibilities for executing project plans to key subordinates, assess qualifications and strengths, and provide input to performance reviews.
  • Mobilize company resources through liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries to create effective project teams.
  • Discuss qualifications required for key project positions in detail with profit center and department managers.
  • Collaborate with managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans.
  • Ensure the project meets or exceeds goals established in plans.
  • Develop and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or accommodate significant scope changes.
  • Advise the client and company management of such changes.
  • Maintain current and timely change orders.
  • Promote technical and commercial excellence through QA processes.
  • Monitor and report progress of all project activity, including significant milestones and conditions affecting cost or schedule.
  • Establish weekly meetings to review project status and formulate action items.
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.
Required Skills
  • Effectively present information to key stakeholders as required by the client.
  • Experience in PMC projects.
  • Understanding of the PMC, construction, and design delivery process and the functions inherent to construction management of large-scale projects.
  • Interface with all levels of the project team, client, and others.
  • Function in a multi‑organizational environment by developing relationships that comply with the client’s proactive, collaborative culture.
  • Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Master’s degree or PMP certification highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing utility programs or large‑scale infrastructure projects, focusing on stormwater.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships.
  • Experience in delivery or wet infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience in managing budgets, schedules, and resources for large, complex utility projects.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements for utility infrastructure.
