We are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our Oil & Gas Group, providing innovative consulting, engineering, procurement, construction and operations solutions to the world’s oil and gas companies.

Job Purpose and Responsibilities

To lead a team of Sr. Engineers, Engineers, Sr. Designer, Designers & Draftsmen. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading independently a team of Sr. Engineers/Engineers, Sr. Designers/Designers & Draftsmen within discipline;
• Ensuring effective communications and co-ordinations between all supervised staff, Lead Engineers of other departments and Project Managers;

Job Requirements/Qualifications/Experience

The successful candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering;
• 15+ years of experience in professional electrical engineering, involving design, planning, checking, general management and supervisory responsibility in oil & gas industry;
• At least 5 years of experience as Senior Engineer, supervising and guiding a team of engineers & designers;
• Experience in reviewing Key Deliverables prepared by Electrical team or produced by other work-share offices;
• Strong engineering competence, interpersonal / team building skills & leadership skills;
• Thorough knowledge of industry practices, codes and standards applicable to electrical engineering;
• Hands on experience in industry software, such as ETAP / EDSA / Power Tools, Smart Plant Electrical, 3D Model Review Tools (SPR & NavisWorks), Chalmlite, MS Office Suite, etc.
