Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Planning: High-level and constructability review of landscape designs ensuring they meet client requirements and project specifications.
  • Project Supervision: Oversee the construction and installation of landscape projects ensuring adherence to design plans and quality standards.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with contractors, developers, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design plans and safety regulations.
  • Problem Solving: Address any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process including weather delays, budget overruns or disputes among staff.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Documentation: Review project documentation including design plans, specifications, reports and contractor submissions such as shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, method statements, etc.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
Experience and Skills
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in landscape architecture with a focus on construction supervision.
  • Strong design and planning skills, excellent communication and coordination abilities, and proficiency in project management software.
