Job summary

A leading defense services provider in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Project Management Assistant to support engineering projects. The role involves assisting in project planning, communication with stakeholders, and ensuring project deliverables. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, along with 1-3 years of experience, and be proficient in project management tools. Knowledge of military tactical vehicles is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field is required.
  • 1-3 years of relevant professional experience preferred.
  • 1 year of project management experience is ideal.
  • Experience in engineering design is a plus.
  • Interest in project management certifications such as PMP is desirable.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Arabic is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Engineer II with customer requirements and inquiries.
  • Contribute to project planning and scheduling.
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure professional completion.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and address project gaps.
  • Prepare monthly project reports for management review.
