We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team. This role will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting month-end and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will be hands‑on, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records and post transactions into the general ledger.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile cash, vendor, clearing, and intercompany accounts.
  • Manage petty cash and PRO-related payments with proper controls and documentation.
  • Support month-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and provisions.
  • Prepare schedules and supporting documents for VAT compliance and internal reporting.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience in contracting, trading, services, or oil & gas support is a plus.
Technical Skills
  • Strong understanding of invoicing, bank reconciliations, general ledger, and month-end closing.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (D365 or FOCUS is an advantage).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Basic knowledge of VAT compliance and audit support.
Soft Skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Clear communication skills.

  • Languages: English (Arabic is a plus)
