Overview
The Interior Designer collaborates with Senior Designers and Project Managers to develop creative interior design solutions for residential, commercial, and institutional spaces. This role involves translating client requirements into functional and aesthetically pleasing designs while adhering to project timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of design concepts and space planning layouts.
- Create mood boards and select appropriate materials, finishes, furnishings, and accessories for each project.
- Participate in client meetings to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
- Present design proposals and solicit feedback from clients.
- Maintain regular communication to ensure client satisfaction throughout the design process.
- Work closely with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate with supplier to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure quality control.
- Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD & InDesign
- Knowledgeable about building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to interior design.
- Ability to guide CAD Designers in detailed drawings documents.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers and interns as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, materials, and technologies in interior design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in interior design, preferably in a design firm or architectural practice.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in conceptualization, space planning, and material selection.
- Proficiency in design software and familiarity with industry-specific tools and resources.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and client preferences.
- Certification or licensure in interior design may be required based on regional regulations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
