Job summary

A leading food manufacturer in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Quality Technologist to analyze samples of dairy products and ensure compliance with food safety standards. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in food science and has experience in the dairy manufacturing industry. Qualifications

Job description
Job Purpose

Quality Technologist is responsible for analyzing samples for Fresh/UHT products in packaging line. The position holder is responsible for conducting following tests PH, Conductivity, Chemical concentration used, analyzing packaging materials & implementing hygiene best practices and carry out internal audits and maintain records.

Key accountabilities
  • Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological tests on raw milk, ingredients, and finished dairy products (e.g., fats, proteins, titratable acidity, pH, moisture, microbiological counts).
  • Conduct environmental and allergen swabbing as part of sanitation verification.
  • Ensure CCP (critical control points) limits are as per the standards and update line supervisor for corrective action if required.
  • Ensure packaging integrity thorough testing and update line supervisor for corrective action if required.
  • Inspect packaging and raw materials as per company raw material receiving program. Prepares summary reports for supplier ratings, packaging and raw materials disposition. Identifies and properly disposes non-conforming materials and products.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO, FSSC 22000, and other food safety and quality management systems.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, Dairy Technology, Microbiology, or related field.
  • Experience in Dairy manufacturing industry knowledge of RM/PM and FG sampling (Fresh/UHT products).
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, ISO standards, and microbiological testing.
