Job description

Core Skills & Responsibilities (Must-Have)

• ✔️ 7+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure support within large organizations
• ✔️ Responsible for availability, performance, cost optimization, and risk management of infrastructure services
• ✔️ Ensure high availability / always-on (24x7) support for production and DR systems
• ✔️ Extensive hands‑on experience with RedHat OpenShift virtualization (KubeVirt)
• ✔️ Strong expertise in OpenShift administration, upgrades, resiliency, and multi-master HA environments
• ✔️ Deep experience with Kubernetes & OpenShift orchestration, scheduling, scaling, and blue‑green deployments with zero downtime
• ✔️ Strong experience with VMware, Oracle Linux Virtual Manager (OLVM), and virtualization platforms
• ✔️ Advanced Linux system administration (RedHat, Unix, Solaris, NIX) with 5+ years hands‑on experience
• ✔️ Excellent Linux troubleshooting and complex incident diagnosis skills
• ✔️ Provide Level 2 support for incidents and problem tickets while meeting SLA commitments
• ✔️ Strong experience with incident management, problem management, and service quality
• ✔️ Hands‑on experience with Disaster Recovery, DR testing, failover/failback activities, and runbook updates
• ✔️ Implement and maintain backup & recovery, capacity management, and license management
• ✔️ Extensive experience with Shell scripting, Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, and ArgoCD
• ✔️ Build and maintain automation and CI/CD pipelines
• ✔️ Strong knowledge of TCP/IP‑based services (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, etc.)
• ✔️ Good understanding of storage concepts and network protocols
• ✔️ Perform OS patching and hardware firmware upgrades following change management procedures
• ✔️ Ensure compliance with IT security policies, audits, and approved security standards

Preferred / Good to Have

• ➕ Experience with RedHat Satellite and Spacewalk
• ➕ Knowledge of OS patching strategies, firmware upgrades, and root cause analysis
• ➕ Relevant industry certifications (Linux, RedHat, VMware, ITIL)
• ➕ Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
