We are currently seeking a Consultant/Specialist in Implantology to enhance our partner practices. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing exemplary dental implant services, significantly contributing to the improvement of patients' oral health and quality of life.
As a Consultant/Specialist in Implantology, your expertise will include evaluating patient needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and executing complex surgical procedures. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about patient care and innovation in implantology.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ oral health to determine the suitability for dental implants.
- Formulate and implement customized treatment plans based on individual patient evaluations.
- Perform a variety of surgical procedures related to the placement of dental implants, including advanced techniques such as bone grafting and sinus lifts.
- Collaborate with dental technicians to ensure the precise design and fabrication of high-quality prosthetic restorations.
- Oversee the post-operative care and recovery processes to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest advancements in implantology to provide cutting-edge care.
- Educate patients on treatment options, outcomes, and necessary aftercare to enhance their understanding and compliance.
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) with a valid license to practice as an Implantologist.
- Demonstrated experience in implantology with a track record of successful implant placements and surgeries.
- Knowledge of advanced surgical techniques, including but not limited to bone grafting and sinus augmentation.
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy, implant sciences, and restorative dentistry practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases and maintain thorough documentation.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills for addressing clinical challenges.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a medical team.
- Doctorate of dental surgery or dental medicine.
- State license and malpractice insurance.
- Additional experience, certifications, or licensing may be required.
- Strong computer skills and experience with healthcare databases and applications.
- Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and health care.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to keep detailed records.
- Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and diagnostics.
