Responsibilities

The IB Diploma Programme Coordinator serves as the leader of the IBDP programme in the secondary school and is responsible for the total operation of that programme. The IBDP Coordinator shall provide leadership, administrative and supervisory skills for the educational development of students and staff, as well as to promote appropriate parent and community awareness.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be qualified teachers holding degree level certification and teacher certification or equivalent from the USA/Canada/UK/Ireland/Australia/New Zealand
• You should have extensive DP experience - previous coordinator experience is a must
• Your knowledge of IB diploma programme requirements should be strong
• You should be able to evidence your success as a classroom teacher
• Experience of leading others
• A sound understanding of shared pedagogical leadership
