Job description

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Human Resource Officer who is ready to make an immediate impact. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the healthcare industry, specifically in homecare, and experience handling staff such as nurses and other healthcare professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all HR functions, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding new staff members. Ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Staff Management: Handle employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution. Provide guidance and support to nurses and other homecare staff.
  • Compliance & Regulations: Ensure that all HR practices comply with healthcare regulations and standards. Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
  • Training & Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
  • Payroll & Benefits: Manage payroll processes and benefits administration. Address any issues related to compensation and benefits.
  • Documentation & Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records. Ensure all HR documentation is up-to-date and compliant with legal requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of HR experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in homecare.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of HR best practices, healthcare regulations, and homecare operations. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
