Job description

We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer to support site safety activities and ensure compliance with HSE standards for oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience working in construction or operational environments within the oil & gas industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
  • Conduct safety inspections, audits, and walkdowns to identify hazards.
  • Support implementation of risk assessments, job safety analyses, and PTW systems.
  • Participate in toolbox talks and conduct safety awareness sessions for workers.
  • Report unsafe conditions and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
  • Assist in incident/near-miss reporting and investigations.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and promote safe work practices across the site.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and the HSE team for safe execution of work.
  • Maintain HSE documentation, records, and daily reports.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of HSE experience in the oil & gas sector.
  • Strong knowledge of site safety practices, PTW systems, and risk assessments.
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certifications preferred.
  • Good communication and observation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment with multicultural teams.
