Job summary

A recruitment agency in Abu Dhabi is seeking an HSE Engineer to develop and maintain the Integrated Management System for Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE). The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or Occupational Health and Safety, with at least 7 years of experience in QHSE and Occupational Safety Management within the industrial and water/wastewater sectors. Strong knowledge of safety management systems is essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience.
  • At least 7 years’ experience in QHSE and Occupational Safety Management in an industrial environment.
  • Experience in water or wastewater industry.

Responsibilities

Job Description
  • To develop, implement, and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) covering Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) to ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and company requirements.
  • The role aims to promote safe operations, consistent product and service quality, environmental protection, and continual improvement across water treatment projects and operations.
  • Professional QHSE qualification from a recognized international organization of Occupational Safety and Health - IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent.
  • At least 7 years’ experience in QHSE and Occupational Safety Management in an industrial environment and water or wastewater industry.
  • Working knowledge in Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems, Environmental Discharges, Incident Command System, Incident Investigation by using Tripod Beta Tool, HSE Auditing techniques, HEMP, Radiological Safety.
