Job summary

A well-established education group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced HR Officer to manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee records. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of HR experience in the education sector, a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, and a solid knowledge of UAE labor laws. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are required, along with fluency in English. The position offers benefits as per UAE Labor Law.

Job description
International Community Schools (ICS) is a well-established education group with six branches across Abu Dhabi delivering British and American curricula. We pride ourselves on promoting a high-quality learning environment supported by strong administrative and operational practices.

We are looking for an experienced HR Officer to join our IC Al-Falah City Branch team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes especially for academic and administrative positions for the branch.
  • Ensure timely onboarding of new staff including documentation visa processing and orientation.
  • Maintain and update employee records contracts and HR databases in accordance with UAE labor laws and ADEK regulations.
  • Process employee-related documents such as offer letters warnings salary certificates and experience letters.
  • Assist with payroll coordination attendance management and leave tracking.
  • Handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and ADEK requirements.
  • Prepare final settlements staff contracts and leaves management.
  • Support performance evaluation cycles and staff training coordination.
  • Prepare reports and HR analytics for management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 3 years of HR experience in the education sector (school environment is a must).
  • Solid knowledge of UAE labor law and school HR compliance requirements (including ADEK regulations).
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR software.
