Overview

Marine Capabilities (Marcap) LLC is looking for a dedicated HR Officer - Generalist to join our Human Resources team. The HR Officer will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, Leave Management, Payroll, compensation & Benefits, training, and compliance. This role is vital in supporting our mission to foster a positive workplace culture and maximize employee engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews
  • Support onboarding processes for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Facilitate employee performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback sessions
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR C&B policies
  • Manage employee leave records & prepare payroll
  • Facilitate in employee trainings & development initiatives
  • Address employee inquiries and concerns regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace issues
  • Organize and conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance employee skills and development
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and programs
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and trends in the industry
  • Produce weekly and monthly management reports
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR generalist or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Strong in HR compliance & Auditing
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in the marine or offshore industry is a plus
