Strategic HR Director | CHRO | Chief HR Officer

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a seasoned Strategic HR Director to lead and oversee the development and implementation of high-level HR strategies for a prominent organisation in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be a fluent Arabic speaker with extensive experience in strategic HR roles at large, well-known companies like Emaar, Damac, or Al Futtaim. This role requires expertise in developing and executing HR strategies, training and development programs, KPIs, and conducting postmortem analyses to continuously refine processes and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute comprehensive HR strategies aligned with organisational objectives to drive business growth.
  • Develop and implement training and development programs to upskill employees and foster leadership.
  • Establish, monitor, and refine KPIs to evaluate organisational and employee performance.
  • Conduct postmortem analyses of HR initiatives and organisational strategies, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business goals and company vision.
  • Lead HR planning initiatives, including workforce planning, succession planning, and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Oversee the creation of a performance-driven culture by aligning HR policies with measurable outcomes.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, ensuring the company remains a leader in HR innovation.
  • Mentor and guide HR teams to deliver excellence across all HR functions.
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations, implementing HR practices that reflect global standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Masters degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior HR roles, with a focus on strategic HR, including at least 5 years as the head of HR at a large organisation such as Emaar, Damac, or Al Futtaim.
  • Proven expertise in HR strategy development, KPI implementation, and training and development programs.
  • Fluency in Arabic (mandatory).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on results.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and engage at all organisational levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in HR or leadership programs (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent).
  • Experience in postmortem analysis and implementing findings to refine organisational strategies.
  • Strong understanding of UAE labour laws and HR best practices.
